12–609.7. Vehicle Service File. A. Description: Documents service history of all vehicles owned by the municipality. Information includes vehicle number, vehicle identification, make of vehicle, date of purchase, purchase cost, maintenance date, odometer/hours, expected life, group code, maintenance days, vehicle type, depart- ment number, fuel code, engine, transmission, brake system, rear end, clutch, fuel capacity, oil capacity, rating, description, purchase, current, previous, and when last serviced.
