004 Inmate Institutional Accounts. Checks, money orders or electronic funds transfers (if authorized by the Department) that comply with these rules and do not violate any other Department of Correctional Services rules, regulations or policies will be deposited in the inmate's institutional account. 004.01 Non-wage funds deposited in an inmate's institutional account can be used only for purposes authorized by state law. 004.02 Funds in an inmate's institutional account will be handled in a manner consistent with the statutes governing inmate wages.
