13–409. Sole Proprietor Investment Advisers. An individual acting as a sole proprietor who meets the definitions of investment adviser in Section 35–1–102(15) of the Act, and investment adviser representative in Section 35–1–102(16) of the Act, must register in South Carolina as both an investment adviser and an investment adviser representa- tive.
