Service Of Notice

01. Hand Delivery. If possible, the Board of Stewards or their designee may hand deliver the written notice of the disciplinary hearing to the licensee who is the subject of the hearing. (7-1-24) 02. Mail Delivery. If hand delivery is not possible, the Board of Stewards may mail the notice to the licensee’s last known address, as found in the Racing Commission’s licensing files, by regular mail and by certified mail, return receipt requested. (7-1-24) 03. Disqualification. If the disciplinary hearing involves an alleged medication violation that could result in the disqualification of a horse, the Board of Stewards must provide notice of the hearing to the owner, managing owner or lessee of the horse in the manner provided by Section 144.
