Seed field inspection requirements for the production of bean seed are as follows: (1) When factors affecting certification are most evident. The second inspection, when required, shall be a windrow inspection. (2) A serology or a grow out test to verify presence of seed-borne diseases in beans may be required if the applicant, or the certifying agency deems it necessary as allowed under WAC 16-301-396 (3). (3) When seed stock planting material does not meet the requirements of bean quarantine standards WAC 16-301-365 through 16-301-440 , the inspection procedures for trial grounds in WAC 16-301-425 may be applicable, including a minimum of four field inspections during the growing season and one windrow inspection.
