80-12-1-.05 Rules For Packaging And Grading Sweet Potatoes. All sweet potatoes offered for sale or sold in commercial channels in the State of Alabama for the fresh market shall be sold only in standardized containers and shall be of not less than a U.S. No. 2 grade. "Standardized containers" as used herein shall include any cardboard box, wirebound crate or tubtype basket of not more than one bushel and consumer packages of smaller size. Author: Charles H.
