12:10:02:36. Requirements for branding yearling stocker cattle with out-of-state brand. Yearling stocker cattle imported or purchased for feeding purposes within the ownership inspection area may be branded with an out-of-state brand authorized by the board pursuant to § 12:10:02:34 if the following conditions are met: (1) An ownership inspection is made at branding time; (2) The owner provides the inspector with proof of ownership of the cattle; (3) The cattle are branded with the owner's registered brand; and (4) The brand is not a duplicate of or in conflict with a previously registered brand.
