REPAIRS TO REJECTED WEIGHING DEVICES

In order that a scale or weighing device which has been rejected for repairs by a duly authorized weights and measures inspector may be put back into service after having been serviced by a registered scale technician, the Director of Weights and Measures is hereby authorized to grant permission for the renewed use of such equipment provided: (1) That the technician rendering service shall have sealed the rejection notice in an envelope; (2) That the envelope bears the name, address, and registration number of the scale technician, date service was rendered, type of service rendered and signature of scale technician.
