R2-10-202. Purchase of Specialized Hazard Control Equipment A. An agency shall notify the RM Loss Prevention Manager prior to starting the procurement process for any specialized safety or security equipment or system exceeding $50,000. RM shall sys- assist each agency to determine whether the equipment or tem will adequately perform its specialized function and is in compliance with applicable codes. regard- B. RM shall submit any comments or recommendations ing specialized safety or security equipment or system to the agency within 10 days from the date RM receives notification of a planned procurement.
