ATCP 57.26 Prohibitions. (1) Feed for food animals. No person may process, sell or distribute any carcass or carcass material as feed for food animals. Note: Subsection (1) does not apply to fully rendered products. See s. ATCP 57.01 (5) and (7). (2) Ruminant feed. No person may sell or distribute protein derived from mammalian tissues as feed for cattle or other ruminants, in violation of 21 CFR 589.2000. (3) No human food. (a) No person may produce, sell, store or distribute food for human consumption pursuant to a renderer license under s. ATCP 57.10, an animal food processor license under s. ATCP 57.12, or a grease processor license under s. ATCP 57.14. (b) No person may process food in the same facilities used for a rendering plant, animal food processing plant or grease processing plant. History: CR 07-116: cr.
