01. General Staffing Ratios. The Provider must ensure that an adequate number of qualified staff are present at all times to provide rehabilitation and treatment services, supervise juvenile offenders, and provide for their health, safety, and treatment needs. Staffing patterns must ensure that professional staff is available to juvenile offenders at all times when they are in the program. The Provider staff should provide consistency and stability so that the juvenile offenders know the roles of each staff member. Specific staffing ratios shall be determined in each contract and must be based on the level of intervention of the program and the risk level of the juvenile offender population. (3-31-22) 02. Emergency Staffing Ratios. At all times, at least one (1) staff member on duty per twenty (20) juvenile offenders in the program must be currently certified to administer first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
