Overpayment of benefits

If a member, survivor, or beneficiary receives an overpayment of retirement benefits due to an administrative error, failure to inform the fund of reemployment, or any other reason, the member, survivor, and beneficiary have an obligation to repay the erroneous payments to the fund.
