Operation of the RTERF

(a) The RTERF is a restricted account that is created within the General Fund of the Commonwealth. (b) The RTERF shall consist of fees paid to the Agency by shippers of spent nuclear fuel to, within, through or across the boundaries of this Commonwealth who shall pay to the Agency a fee of $1,000 per shipment, payable prior to the proposed date of the shipment.
