§13-90-1 Prohibited activities §13-90-2 Penalty

§13-90-1 Prohibited activities. No person shall catch, take, possess, or remove nehu (Stolephorus purpureus) from the waters of the State except for family consumption or other purposes, provided that: (1) Any small mesh net used shall not exceed fifty feet (15.24 meters) in length; and (2) Not more than one gallon (3.79 liters) of nehu is taken per day. §13-90-2 Penalty. A person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as provided by law. [Eff: MAY 26 1981] (Auth: HRS §187A-5) (Imp: HRS §188-70)
