“Necessary expenses” payments do not extend to family members or other guests

For purposes of section 1-79(17) of the Connecticut General Statutes, “necessary expenses” do not include payment of expenses for the public official's or state employee's family or other guests. (Effective June 16, 1993; Amended January 2, 2008; Amended May 11, 2023 )
