Mortgage license required to operate as mortgage lender or mortgage broker
Alaska Administrative Code
(a) Unless exempt from licensing under AS 06.60.015(a), a person must be licensed by the department as a mortgage licensee to operate in the state as a mortgage broker or mortgage lender with respect to a dwelling or residential real estate in the state. (b) A mortgage licensee may operate in the state as a mortgage lender or a mortgage broker, or as both a mortgage lender and mortgage broker.
