Method of testing

Official tuberculin tests may be applied by the intradermal (caudal fold), single cervical and comparative cervical methods. An official tuberculin test shall be applied by a veterinarian regularly employed by the Commonwealth of Virginia or federal government, a county or municipality, or an accredited veterinarian. The comparative cervical tests shall be performed only by an approved state or federal veterinarian. Statutory Authority: §§ 3.2-6002 and 3.2-6004 of the Code of Virginia.
