RELATES TO: KRS 229.025, 229.171 STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 229.171 NECESSITY, FUNCTION, AND CONFORMITY: KRS 229.171(1) authorizes the commission to exercise sole jurisdiction over all unarmed combat shows and licensees in the commonwealth. This administrative regulation establishes standards governing the conduct of managers. Section 1. Duties and Responsibilities. (1) A manager shall only do business with a promoter, ring official, or contestant who holds an active license. (2) A manager shall not act or attempt to act for a contestant unless authorized by the contestant. (3) A contract between a manager and a contestant shall be filed with the commission as evidence of the manager's authority to act for the contestant. (4) A manager shall keep accurate records of the receipts and expenses of the contestants under the manager's management and control.
