MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION Title 12: Finance and Administration Part 11: LEGISLATIVE GRANT PROGRAMS Part 11 Chapter 1: MISSISSIPPI ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (MAICU) INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT PROGRAM ACT OF 2022 Rule 1.1 MAICU INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT Applications. Within the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration, certain eligible independent colleges and universities may apply for reimbursable grants to make necessary investments in water, wastewater, stormwater, broadband and other eligible infrastructure projects to be funded by the Legislature utilizing the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds made available under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). To apply for funding under this Act, eligible applicants should visit the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration website located at https://www.dfa.ms.gov/ and click on the MAICU icon located under Covid-19 Information and Resources. All application procedures, deadlines and rules related to administration of the MAICU Grant Program are located within the referenced MAICU portal.
