Inspection

A. Each pet shop is subject to at least one unannounced annual inspection of dogs and cats during normal department business hours conducted by the animal care inspector. B. The animal care inspector shall be granted access to the entire pet shop facility and any requested records. C. Each pet shop shall be inspected for compliance with this chapter and Chapter 65 (§ 3.2-6500 et seq.) of Title 3.2 of the Code of Virginia. Statutory Authority: § 3.2-6501.1 of the Code of Virginia.
