R2-20-225. Informal Settlement Conference A. If the respondent requests an informal settlement conference, the informal settlement conference shall be held within 1 5 days after the Commission receives the request. A request for an informal settlement conference shall be in writing and must be filed with the Commission no later than 20 days before th e hearing date. A person with the authority to act on behalf of confer- the Commission must represent the Commission at the ence. The AAG shall attend the settlement conference, but shall not be the individual authorized to act on behalf of th e Commission. B. The Commission representative shall notify the appellant i n writing that the statements, either written or oral, made by th e cre- appellant at the conference, including a written document, ated or expressed solely for the purpose of settlement negotiations, are inadmissible in any subsequent administrativ e hearing. The parties participating in the settlement conferenc e waive their right to object to the participation of the agenc y representative in the final administrative decision.
