Salvage food processing employees in reconditioning and salvaging areas in contact with products shall be free of communicable infections or other diseases, open sores, and skin infections. All personnel contacting ingredients and products shall keep their hands in a clean and sanitary condition at all times and shall wash their hands before starting work and again after any interruption where possible contamination of their hands may occur. Personnel shall wear clean outer clothing. There shall be no expectoration or use of tobacco in any form in any of the salvaging or reconditioning rooms and areas.

"No smoking" signs shall be conspicuously posted in these areas. Statutory Authority: MS s 31.101
