Guidelines for cost principles

(a) The commissioner of administration, the commissioner of transportation and public facilities, or the chief procurement officer may establish guidelines for cost principles that may be used to determine allowability of incurred costs for the purpose of reimbursement under contract provisions that provide for the reimbursement of costs. (b) Cost principles may be modified by contract upon approval of the head of the using agency.
