EXEMPTIONS

(a) The Plant Industry Division, Plant Protection Section, adopts by reference 7 CFR 301.80-2(b) entitled Exemptions. (b) The following article is exempt from certification and permit requirements: Seed cotton, if moving to a designated gin. (c) Articles originating in those areas described in these Regulations as exempt areas shall be exempt from all certification and permit requirements except when the soil is disturbed at a depth greater than 30 inches below the surface.
