Executive Order 01.01.1984.10

1. It is the policy of the State of Maryland to cooperate with the federal government, local governments, non-profit organizations, and the private sector to assure that every citizen of the State enjoys without discrimination the use of safe and decent housing, the cost of which does not place an unreasonable financial burden upon the individual or family. 2. To the extent not inconsistent with law, all State governmental agencies shall be responsive to the housing policy set forth in this Order.

3. This Executive Order does not create new substantive rights nor diminish any legal right under federal or State law, and it is not intended to and may not be construed to confer any right, privilege or status on any private party cognizable by a court.
