1 CSR 50-2.030 Ex Parte Communications PURPOSE: This rule indicates inappropriate communications between the parties or their representatives and commission members. (1) A party or the party’s representative shall not communicate, directly or indirectly, with any member of the commission in connection with any issue of fact or in connection with any other substantive issue relating to a specific case except upon notice and opportunity for all parties to participate. (2) The commission staff may communicate with the commission in an effort to settle cases pending before the commission without providing notice and an opportunity to be heard by all parties.
