Establishment of accreditation program

A. Once the accreditation program has been established, laboratory accreditation shall be required before any environmental analyses performed by a commercial environmental laboratory may be used for the purposes of the Virginia Air Pollution Control Law, the Virginia Waste Management Act or the State Water Control Law (§ 10.1-1300 et seq., § 10.1-1400 et seq., and § 62.1-44.2 et seq., respectively, of the Code of Virginia). B. The accreditation program shall be established on January 1, 2012. Statutory Authority: § 2.2-1105 of the Code of Virginia.
