Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies
(a) Emergency purchases shall be limited to those information technology personal property or services necessary to meet the emergency. (b) Any agency may make emergency procurements consistent with the agency's statutory authority when an emergency condition arises and the need cannot be met through normal procurement methods. (c) The procedure used for selection shall be such as to assure that the required information technology personal property or services are procured in time to meet the emergency. Given this constraint, such competition as is practicable shall be obtained. (Adopted effective August 9, 2004)
