(A) An eligible applicant is a county, township, municipal corporation, port authority, or conservancy district or a park district, or other similar park authority. These entities are collectively referred to as "units of local government." Other eligible applicants include a county land reutilization corporation, nonprofit organization, or organization for profit. These additional entities need to enter into an agreement with a unit of local government to work in conjunction on the project for the purposes of this program. A copy of the agreement has to be provided within the application. (B) The eligible applicant will designate a sole point of contact for the project. (C) The eligible applicant will comply with any other criteria the director determines is necessary. (D) Entities that caused or contributed to the contamination at the property are not an eligible partner or applicant.
