010 Determination of death 010.01 The coroner or a health professional qualified to determine death shall be designated by the Director to determine whether the inmate is deceased at the conclusion of the execution process. If the coroner or designated health professional determines that the condemned inmate is not dead, the Director shall order that the intravenous injection of the substance or substances shall be repeated by the IV Team Leader.
