Each officer and the head of each State agency under the jurisdiction of the Executive Ethics Commission shall designate an ethics officer for the officer or State agency [5 ILCS 430/20-23]. a) The designation of the ethics officer shall be in writing and shall be forwarded to the Executive Ethics Commission and to the appropriate Executive Inspector General. b) The Executive Ethics Commission and the appropriate Executive Inspector General shall be notified in writing of the ethics officer's name, business address, telephone number and e-mail address within 30 days after the appointment of a new ethics officer.
