21—45.100(206) Definitions. Where used in these rules: “Contested case hearing” means an evidentiary hearing pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 17A. “Department” means the pesticide bureau of the department of agriculture and land stewardship. “Informal settlement” means an agreement between representatives of the department and a commercial applicator providing for sanctions for a violation of Iowa Code chapter 206 or the department’s rules but does not include a contested case hearing.
