12–504.7. Deduction Registers. A. Description: Summarizations of information on deductions from payroll checks. Used for balancing accounts, internal fiscal control, and external audits. Information includes employee name, social security number, state and federal income tax deductions, and year-to-date deductions per pay period. B. Retention: 3 years, then destroy.
