Current Rulemaking Procedures

a) The current rulemaking procedures of this Commission are those set forth in the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act. b) All interested persons who wish to submit a request to comment within the 14 day comment period, must do so in writing. c) Emergency Rulemaking: When, in the opinion of the Commission, an emergency situation exists which reasonably constitutes a threat to the public interest, safety, or welfare, emergency rules may be passed in accordance with Section 5.02 of the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 127, par. 1005.02).
