Consultation with Department of Environmental Quality

(1) In accordance with ORS 285A.188(4), the Department shall consult with the Department of Environmental Quality prior to the decision to approve an application. The Department shall provide the Department of Environmental Quality with information about the applicant, property, project description, environmental service professional, and funding amount requested. (2) The Department of Environmental Quality shall verify within a reasonable period of time whether the applicant is ineligible for funding assistance in accordance with ORS 285A.188(3)(a). (3) Any recommendations or relevant comments from the Department of Environmental Quality that are submitted to the Department within a reasonable period of time shall be included as part of the application for consideration.
