(a) Easements shall remain in full-force effect until December 31 of the next year subsequent to its execution. (b) An applicant must obtain a state permit from the Department of Natural Resources and Community Development under G.S. 113-229 and a federal permit from the United States Corps of Engineers in addition to any easement granted.
