(a) A frozen dairy dessert product shall not contain more than 50,000 bacteria per gram as determined by the standard plate count and shall not contain more than 10 coliform organisms per gram in three out of the last five samples. (b) A frozen dairy dessert mix shall not contain more than 20,000 bacteria per gram as determined by the standard plate count and shall not contain more than 10 coliform organisms per gram in three out of the last five samples.
