3 CSR 10-9.351 Class II Wildlife Breeder Permit PURPOSE: This rule establishes a new permit for holders of wildlife classified as inherently dangerous to humans. (1) Class II Wildlife Breeder Permit. To exercise the privileges of a Class II wildlife breeder, except these privileges may only be exercised for black bears and black bear-hybrids, mountain lions and mountain lion-hybrids, and wolves obtained under a valid Class II Wildlife Breeder Permit prior to August 30, 2021. (2) The following exemptions to the Class II breeder permit requirements of this chapter shall apply: (A) Wolf-hybrids are exempt from permit requirements; and (B) Wildlife legally held by publicly owned zoos, or Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited not-for-profit facilities are exempt from permit requirements; however, such wildlife may not be held for personal use.
