Rule 6. (1) If, after investigation, the department determines that there are sufficient grounds for discrimination or retaliation, or both, a charge must be filed. (2) If the department determines that there are insufficient grounds to file a charge, the department shall refuse to file a charge and shall notify the parties by mail or electronic service of the determination and the refusal, together with the reasons for refusal, and of the claimant's right to request reconsideration by the department of the determination within 30 days after the date of mailing, in accordance with R 37.7.
