7–701.1. Beer Not to Exceed 5% Alcohol by Weight. Beer, ale, porter or other similar malt beverages containing more than five percent (5%) of alcohol by weight cannot be distributed by wholesale beer and wine dealers or wholesale liquor dealers and cannot be treated as wine for tax purposes under the laws of the State of South Carolina.
