A. These rules apply to domicile employees, field auditors and appointees of the LRC, as well as potential employees and appointees to those positions. B. Following a job offer, potential employees and potential appointees will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing. All employees/appointees are subject to post-accident/incident, reasonable suspicion and return-to-duty/rehabilitation monitoring drug and alcohol testing. Employees who incumber safety-sensitive positions and applicants who apply for safety-sensitive positions are subject to both random and pre-selection drug and alcohol testing. Finally, prior to being reassigned, temporarily detailed, promoted or demoted to a safety-sensitive position, an employee is required to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
