The following are adopted by reference, including subsequent amendments and editions: (1) "Milk for Manufacturing Purposes and Its Production and Processing, Recommended Requirements," U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service, Dairy Programs. A copy of this document is available at no cost from the USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service, at www.ams.usda.gov. A farmstead shall be exempt from all mandatory milk testing except the mastitic milk test and the appearance and odor test. For the purposes of this Section, "farmstead" means a milk or milk product production facility that uses only milk from its own animals in its product production and has no other source of milk. (2) "Grading and Inspection - General Specifications for Approved Dairy Plants and Standards for Grades of Dairy Products," 7 C.F.R. 58.
