Subpart 1. Administration. This code shall be administered according to chapter 1300. Subp. 2. Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to establish a minimum code of standards for the construction, reconstruction, alteration, and repair of residential buildings governing matters including design and construction standards regarding heat loss control, illumination, and climate control, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections 326B.101 , 326B.106 , and 326B.13 .
