All motions for an extension of time to perform an act required or allowed to be done within a specified time must show cause and indicate whether there is consent of other affected parties to the motion, including the bankruptcy administrator in chapter 11 matters. Rule 9006-1(1) MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME - 11 U.S.C. § 1121 A motion for extension of time pursuant to § 1121(d) shall be reviewed by the court and allowed ex parte. Upon filing of a motion to reconsider and proper notice, the matter shall be set for hearing, where the court may for cause increase the 120-day period or the 180-day period referred to in § 1121(d)(2). The debtor shall bear the burden of proof.
This provision shall be applicable only to § 1121(d) and shall not apply to § 1121(e).
