All court orders, including docket text-only minute-orders, decrees and judgments shall be filed electronically by the court or court personnel. Electronically-filed court orders and judgments shall have the same force and effect as if the judge had affixed a signature to a paper copy of the document and the document had been entered on the docket in the traditional manner. The judge's signature on an electronic order shall appear as “s/ followed by the judge's name” (e.g., “s/Judge James J. Jones”) typed on the signature line. As further explained below (Section 10 of this manual), electronic signatures of non- judicial E-Filers shall utilize the same format (e.g., “s/Martin R. Smith”) in lieu of an ink-based signature.
