Service on an attorney may be made by overnight delivery service. “Overnight delivery service” means any delivery service that regularly accepts items for overnight delivery. 17 Joint Local Rules, S.D.N.Y. and E.D.N.Y. Effective January 2, 2026 Overnight delivery service will be deemed service by mail for purposes of Fed. R. Civ. P. 5 and 6.
