LR 40 - Scheduling Cases for Trial ( See  Fed. R. Civ. P. 40 ) LR 40-1 Scheduling Cases for Trial The judge to whom a case is assigned will schedule trial (1) without request of the parties, or (2) upon request of a party and notice to the other parties.
