(a) (b) Satisfaction of a judgment shall be noted by the Clerk on the margin of the record of the civil judgment book upon the happening of any of the following: (1) The filing with the Clerk of a written satisfaction of judgment executed by the judgment creditor or his attorney of record. The filing with the Clerk of a return to an execution by the United States Marshal showing the judgment collected by the Marshal. (3) The payment of the judgment or the fine imposed into the Registry of the Court. A judgment creditor or his attorney of record may also note satisfaction of judgment on the margin of record of the civil judgment book.

The Clerk shall attest such notation. (2) Adopted and effective May 1, 1980
