In a case removed from state court to federal court, the E-Filer is required to file electronic copies of all documents previously filed in the state court together with the electronically filed Notice of Removal. Since many, if not all, of the documents previously filed in the state court action may not be available electronically, it is ECF Policies and Procedures 12/1/2016 Page 9 of 30 permissible to file them in a scanned version so long as they are scanned to a PDF format.
