(a) Alias and Pluries Summons. The clerk is authorized to issue an alias or pluries summons without court order, upon application of the plaintiff. (b) Continuance of Scheduling Conference. If after issuance of an alias or pluries summons the deadline to serve a response to a complaint will be less than 30 days before the date of the scheduling conference, the plaintiff must file a motion to continue the scheduling conference to a date after expiration of the defendant’s deadline to serve a response.
